Let’s face it, those fine lines and wrinkles that accumulate as we get older do very little to enhance our appearance. Most of us would love to get rid of them, or at least soften them up a bit, but who wants to deal with the cost and pain associated with surgery. Luckily, there are now some inexpensive, anti-aging skin treatments that can give you a non-surgical face lift.

Sun damage, sun spot and birth mark removal is possible with many Lasers, including the PicoSure, CO2RE and Cynosure MedLite C6. Other sun damage treatments and precancer treatments including PDT (photodynamic therapy) and prescription medications are available.
Radiofrequency and Laser treatment for rosacea and spider veins are successful using our Candela Vbeam Perfecta Laser, Gentle Yag Pro and the Ellman Surgitron. Acne Scar Correction is done using the PicoSure, CO2RE and Vbeam Lasers and the Syneron Ematrix radiofrequency device. Dr. Van Reken performs TCA CROSS for ice pick acne scars, an acid treatment, which often reduces scars by 50-75%. He also does Acne Subcision Surgery which is used for wider, atrophic acne scars. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections with Microneedling are also helpful for scars and sun damage. We treat active acne using topical prescription and nonprescription creams and pills. Melasma (chloasma) treatments using products, chemical peels and the PicoSure and MedLite Lasers are effective and sought after.
