Maria R. (Certified Medical Assistant & Laser Technician)
Maria joined Reno Sparks MedSpa in March of 2018. She graduated from Career College of Northern Nevada in 2016 with an associate degree in medical assisting. She is trained and certified on many laser and radiofrequency machines including many different Syneron and Candela devices, our Lutronic Infini RF machine and our PRO-NOX nitrous oxide self-administered anesthetic gas machine. She frequently uses our Gentle YAG laser to perform Laser Hair Removal. She has had more than 22 hours of dedicated training in Candela, Syneron and Infini RF equipment and our PRO-NOX system. She takes histories, does ECG and spirometry studies and gives injections. She assists the doctor with joint and PRP injections, skin biopsies, Pap smears, sclerotherapy, endovenous laser ablation, skin cancer treatments and nonsurgical procedures. Her favorite is assisting with mole removal. She enjoys interacting with the patients and performing various procedures. She has personally had many procedures done in our office and herself and can tell patients what to expect. She is fluent in Spanish and English. She is married and spends time with her husband and two dogs when not working.

Jasmin C. (Certified Medical Assistant and Laser Technician):
Jasmin joined the Reno Sparks MedSpa team in March of 2018 as a certified medical assistant. She is trained and certified on many laser and radiofrequency machines including many different Syneron and Candela devices, our Lutronic Infini RF machine and our PRO-NOX nitrous oxide self-administered anesthetic gas machine. She is our primary taser tech for the CO2RE Intima laser vaginal revitalization procedures and our CO2RE Aesthetic CO2 laser for skin rejuvenation. She does PDT procedures using the red light machine for acne and sun damage. She has had more than 22 hours of dedicated training in Candela, Syneron and Infini RF equipment and our PRO-NOX system. Pap Smears, Sclerotherapy injections and varicose veins, mole removal, endovenous laser ablation and nonsurgical procedures. She is experienced in using our computer systems, handling prescriptions and phone calls. Our patients feel she is a calming influence - calling her both professional and sweet. She has a good sense of humor. She is fluent in Spanish and English. She is married with a son and twin daughters at home.

Sandra L. (Medical Assistant and Laser Technician):
Sandra began her career as a CNA and received her MA in 2006. Although family practice is her strong suit, she also has EMT and Advanced EMT certificates. She is a medical assistant and laser tech. She loves working at Reno Sparks Medspa and joined the team in May 2018. She enjoys the friendly atmosphere and the genuine care and dedication that the doctor has for helping his patients. Sandra's years of medical experience are tempered with compassion for our patients. She is a fast learner, a team player and happy to help out with almost any problem. Sandra lived in Mexico for three years as a girl, becoming fluent in Spanish. She and her husband have seven wonderful children, three amazing dogs and several birds.
